About me
From a random 3am idea to launch. Clean products built to perform in real-world use, driven by clarity, structured systems, solid design principles and intentional design.
I’m Hech (Harsha Bhat), a passionate and creative designer based in India.
My journey with Design began many years ago. At first, it was the fascination of holding something I built in my hands that drove the designer in me. The ideations, the concepts, the process, and the final satisfying result (most of the times, at least).
There was always something about taking an idea that existed only in my head and slowly turning it into something tangible. Sketching it out, figuring out how it should work, questioning why it should exist in the first place, and eventually seeing it come together. That process was, and still is, one of the most satisfying parts of designing.
Over time, this fascination encompassed digital products, the build that goes behind UI, and the systems that make an interface actually work. I found myself increasingly drawn towards the digital side of design and development.
Not just how something looks, but why it works the way it does.
This is me, trying to bridge the gap between good design and actually functional development.
I enjoy working through the messy middle of an idea. The part where nothing is quite figured out yet. Where requirements change, assumptions fall apart, a beautifully designed interaction turns out to make absolutely no sense when someone actually uses it, and you have to go back and rethink the whole thing.
That process has taught me that good design rarely comes from decoration. It comes from understanding.
Understanding the problem, the people using it, the environment it exists in, the constraints around it, and the little details that can make something feel effortless when everything behind it is anything but.
I’m still figuring things out, really.
Trying ideas, building things, learning how they work, figuring out why they don’t, and occasionally getting something right. Design has simply given me a way to make that process tangible.
So, from that random 3am idea to something people can actually use, that’s where I like to be.
